About Robert
Robert Gibbons is a passionate and experienced disability attorney at Citizens Disability. A graduate of Eckerd College with a degree in Biochemistry (2009), Robert initially planned to pursue a career in patent law, earning his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2012. However, a life-altering event during his final semester of law school changed his trajectory. His youngest sister sustained severe and permanent injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, after being struck by a motor vehicle. Her miraculous recovery and ongoing need for care inspired Robert to dedicate his career to helping individuals facing similar challenges.
Over the past decade, Robert has represented thousands of clients across the country, including in Alaska and Hawaii. His personal connection to disability law provides him with a unique understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional toll that injuries take on clients and their families. He takes great pride in securing benefits that not only support clients but also offer much-needed relief to their loved ones. Robert has successfully advocated for clients before some of the most challenging judges and is honored to work alongside a dedicated team of attorneys, many of whom he has collaborated with for a decade.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys playing in his men’s baseball league, snowboarding, mountain biking, playing guitar, and baking intricate desserts. His diverse interests reflect his energy and dedication, both in and out of the courtroom.
