Citizens Disability is a non-government affiliated organization, dedicated to helping you get compensation for disabilities.

Andrew Youngman

President, CEO, & Co-Founder

Andrew (Andy) Youngman founded Citizens Disability because he had seen too many times how an individual can get lost in a system that’s inefficient and ineffective.

About Andrew

When Andy learned about the barriers the government imposes on SSDI applicants, he saw an opportunity. By combining family values and commitment to social justice with his business expertise, he built a company dedicated solely to helping disabled workers fight for and receive the benefits they so rightly earned and deserve.

By advocating for disabled workers, Andy has been able to help them have a name and a face in a large and impersonal government system that would have otherwise ignored or overlooked them. As Citizens Disability has grown, he has been overwhelmed by the personal letters that have crossed his desk about the difference our advocates have made in the lives of so many people around the country.

Andy is proud to say that Citizens Disability has given each applicant the opportunity to have his or her story heard. When our clients are awarded benefits, the government is really acknowledging and confirming each one’s history of hard-earned wages.

Also, as a father, Andy feels that it is part of his responsibility to instill in his children, and the next generation, the importance of social insurance. He strongly believes that protecting the rights of disabled workers is part of what makes our society a caring one.
